Allyson Felix

Allyson Michelle Felix was born Los Angeles on November 18 1985. Paul Felix served as an ordained minister in Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix was an athlete of the highest level and discovered her love for sprinting in the sprints at Los Angeles Baptist High School. At her first attempt and placing in the top two in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships in the 200-meter sprint in only 10 weeks. Felix signed a contract for a professional career with Adidas in 2003, and after that she enrolled at University of Southern California to learn about elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic medal at the 2004's Summer Olympics In Athens Greece. Felix ran 200 meters in 22.18s, setting an all-time junior world record. In the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix was the youngest world champion in the distance of 200 meters. She won the title in 2007. won the title in front of her Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix competed at the Olympics at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro as well as Tokyo always finishing in the top three in all her races.
