Rena Sofer

  Rena Sherel Sofer (born on December 2 the 2nd of December, 1968) is an American actress, known for her role in daytime television, occasional guest appearances as well as made-for TV films. Sofer won the Daytime Emmy Award 1995 for her portrayal in the role of Lois Cerullo of the soap show General Hospital. From 2013 until 2022, she played Quinn Fuller on the CBS soap production The Bold and the Beautiful.





 Childhood and early life



 Sofer was the daughter of Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau) She was an Orthodox rabbi, and Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau).





 In 1970, she relocated to Teaneck, New Jersey with her brother David and father. However, Sofer lived in Western Pennsylvania when she was a kid. The family was brought up in Ambridge, Pennsylvania by their father, Beth Samuels Jewish Center. She went on to attend the Frisch School, a coeducational Modern Orthodox Jewish high school located in Paramus, New Jersey. Sofer was born in North Bergen where her father was the synagogue rabbi Temple Beth El. Sofer graduated from North Bergen High School and then went to Montclair State College.





 Career



 Daytime television



 Lois Marie Cerullo was Lois Marie Sofer's first character on General Hospital. In 1993, she worked as an administrator of a band. Her first TV role was as Rocky McKenzie, a daytime soap opera about Loving (1988-91).
